I bought it really to go out and about/travelling, without having to carry around My larger, heavier 17" laptop, it does everything i want, although a little slow, but going to upgrade the RAM to 2GB to make it run faster, and I will at some point get an external DVD drive. overall, really pleased and would recommend...Happy bunny! 31 of 31 people found the following review helpful Excellent little notebook!!, 1 Feb 2012 This review is from: Samsung N145 Plus 10.1 inch Netbook - Black (Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz, RAM 1GB, HDD 320GB, LAN, WLAN, Webcam, Windows 7 Starter) (Personal Computers) This netbook is very good. It has an excellent battery life, its boots up very fast and considering it's very small it's very "usable". I upgraded the RAM to 2GB which sped things up nicely and also upgraded the operating system to Windows Home edition. But all in all it's a very practical product which does everything you need if you're on the move. It's the perfect travel companion!! The screen is antiglare so you can read it in any light which is very advantageous and again considering the screen is only 10.2" it doesn't cause undue strain whilst working.
