It might be worth pointing out that the core I5 does not have hyperthreading, it has four cores and four threads. Now running 4.5ghz without any voltage change, stable and max in prime 95 has been 57c according to Real temp. For some reason, the CPU just seems snappier than my 2600k rig, it is most probably the 16gb of Corsair 2133 ram and z77 versus, 4 gb of 1800 and z68 in other rig. I only upgraded because this box was overdue, if I had a SB all ready, I would wait for the Haswell...it is a sideways upgrade if you go for the Ivy. Great overclocker CPU but runs HOT.
