It is fast and amazingly quiet. Boots up in just over 1 minute. One thing missing is no Firewire connection for fast back ups. Don't know how much slower are the USB 2.0 ports when backing up. My old Advent desktop was much heavier and more solid than the HP but at least the HP is easier to move about. The Advent bought from PC world went downhill after about 5 years and customer support from PC world was non-existant. The power switch on the HP is the wrong shape and too fiddly if you have fat fingers but nothing too serious. I am OK with 4 GB memory but for some you might go for an upgrade. I have had no problems with the HP so far apart from transferring my old files, which was my own fault. The HP uses 300 watts of power,seesm a lot, but it does go into sleep mode if not active. Very happy with this computer amazing value very fast delivery definitely recommend to anyone looking for a standard computer with space and speed. 8 of 21 people found the following review helpful exerlant hp product, 4 April 2012 This review is from: HP Pavilion p6-2065uk Desktop PC (Intel Core i7-2600 processor, 4GB RAM, 1.5TB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) (Personal Computers) bought this item monday fast exerlant delivery by amazon i have had pcs since i was 16 so i know all bout computers ive had packard bells worst ever computer ive had advent decent pc ive had acer not that good so i thought id try hp pavilion and its fastest ever and had no problems so far with it its handled everything ive thrown at it hp support is ten out of ten the only dowenside is that it aint got hdmi but ill purchase a nvidia one and install it but as i say its a top brand pc with top specs if your looking for a desktop i highly recommend this one Help other customers find the most helpful reviews Was this review helpful to you? |
