| 17 of 18 people found the following review helpful  Not just for gaming, By This review is from: Razer Naga MMO 5600DPI Gaming Mouse (Accessory) At first I was a bit apprehensive about spending �60 on a wired mouse that looks like the only advantage to using it would be for playing MMOs (specifically, World of Warcraft), but where this might have been the case when the mouse first launched, it no longer suffers from that limitation today. With the latest software you can configure and assign every one of the 17 buttons to your hearts content, and it's even smart enough to automatically switch profiles on the fly as it detects which program you're using. For my purposes this not only includes a variety of games, but when I need to get down to work I can happily use shortcuts on many of my other apps such as Photoshop and Maya - it makes switching tools and quick saving a lot more accessible and comfortable. For more specific or complex commands you can create macros which will record all your keystrokes, and then assign them to a single click, it's absolutely perfect. Read more 27 of 29 people found the following review helpful Amazing mouse, changed the way i play WOW.., By This review is from: Razer Naga MMO 5600DPI Gaming Mouse (Accessory) I have had the Naga for over a week now and it has been an absolute joy to play with.Once i had got over the install issues (its far easier to download the curse client for WOW addons and search Razer naga and install it from there) it was plain sailing. You have so many ways to set up and customize your buttons that it caters for all. You can just set up the standard 12+ buttons and play from there or you can start using the Alt, shift & Ctrl combos to create more options, giving you another 12 buttons with each combo. E.g. holding Alt and press 1 on the mouse gives you a different action than just pressing 1 on its own. It has sped up my reaction time whilst playing as i can now perform attacks and combos whilst moving so much better and on top of all that it has made the game even more enjoyable to play. I would recommend this to any Serious WOW player, without a doubt it is a accentual piece of kit... I have played world of warcraft since its beginning and never have i had such a great experience... Good points: - For what it is, it is great value for money. - Very easy to acustom to. - Software and addons very easy to find and install. - Although it took me about 2 hours to configure my interface for just 1 character and spec due to the addon, i had great fun doing it because it was just so easy to use and did everything i needed it to do. - Works great with the razer destructor mouse mat. Bad points: None so far... I would strongly recommend this to any serious WoW player, and I hope many others get the chance to experience the power of the naga. |
