On the whole I'm pleased with it. It seems to be well-designed (with one annoying exception - see below) and is reasonably fast.Pros - All the sockets (3xUSB, HDMI, VGA, SD/SDHC, power, mic, line-out/headphone) are on the side and the internal mic is on the top, below the keyboard and to the left of the mouse touchpad. Consequently nothing is obscured by your body when you are using it on your lap - unlike the HP/Compaq laptop that I had before where my body covered the mike :-( - The lights for power, hard disc, wireless, caps lock, battery charging are below the touchpad, so they are not in the direct line of sight when you are using the laptop, but they are visible if you need to refer to them, and they can be seen (just!) with the lid closed to check when charging has finished (the LED changes...
