Having said that it does everything it is supposed to do, it worked straight out of the box, it was easy to set up plugged straight into my network switch. Then 10 minutes on each of my networked computers to set up all functions over the network. The print quality is good, not fantastic but perfectly adequate to print my stationary with colour photos. for the price it is an excellent tool for small office or home I would not think it would handle heavy use every day in a busy office. It is neat, sits on my home computer desk taking up no more room than my old inkjet, and it is much quieter in use than the inkjet, you can continue with telephone conversations when it prints. I wait to see how long the cartridges last, I am still using the ones supplied by the manufacturer which are not high capacity.Overall very pleased, and I will be happy to recommend this device to my... And has a smaller footprint than other similar machines .. and a great price.Comes very well protected (in a big box). Worked 1st time, excellent results for copy, scan and print. Gives the impression of maybe not being so robust (like the flimsy slide-out tray that catches copies) so worth seeing one before buying IF you are going to use it with kids/office staff around. However I'm very pleased with it and have now printed about 250 pages perfectly and it has a very good scanner - better than the similarly priced HP that I saw. I purchased it to print from my iPad. Bad move. Samsung have only limited functionality built in their iPad app. Printing emails is virtually impossible. I have tried other iPad apps, but they are also limited. AirPrint appears to be a problem for most printer manufacturers, except HP.Still, I do like the Samsung printer for all other printing jobs! |
