Introducing the World's thinest and fastest 8 Inch Tablet PC. The Ployer Momo8 Bird is one of several newly announced tablets manufactured by Ployer. The Momo8 incorporates an incredibly sleek and stylish design packed full of intuitive new features and incredible processing power.
Enjoy Ultra High Definition with the Momo8 Birds XGA resolution screen, comparable to many Desktop PC monitors sold today. To achieve this, the Momo8 Birds screen displays 40 pixels per square millimetre, allowing over 16 million different colour combinations. This gives the Momo8 Bird a brighter, sharper display offering a 60% enhancement over standard models.
The Momo8 Bird pushes the boundary of design with it's ultra thin stylish looks at only 9.7mm thick. However, the compressed design does not mean a compromise on performance. The Momo8 Bird boasts the powerful Allwinner A10 1.2GHz processor and is equipped with 1GB DDR3 system memory, twice the size of previous generations. This ensures the Momo8 Bird not only looks fantastic, but has the power and performance to back it up!

This review is from: Ployer Momo8 Bird Tablet PC - 8 Inch Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) - 1024 * 768 Capacitive 5 Point Touch Screen, 1.6GHz Processor, 8GB storage, 1GB DDR3 Memory, Ultra Thin, 9.7mm design - 3D Output - Flash 11.1 - New Google Play installed - All iPlayers and Flash Content Compatible - 1.3MP Camera (Personal Computers) I received this player today from GTR Electonics, a day or two ahead of the estimated delivery time.First impressions are that the tablet looks good, lives up to its specifications, and it meets all of my needs very well indeed. Construction is of plastics but is not plastiky. There is a nice weight to it and the size is fine for my big hands. There is little or no flexing of the case despite it being quite thin. It is easy to use (even for a 69 year old) and the screen is very good for viewing photos and maps, and for watching movies (the sound from the speakers is a bit quiet but clear). My illustrated technical ebooks are easy to read and the multi-touch zooming is quick and light. I used Amazon's Kindle app which runs very well. The large screen is very helpful where there are complex diagrams and illustrations. Internet response is very good too. Games (which I rarely play) respond well and look good... Well done to them.I have now had time to size up how this momo8 bird fits up against my usage. Tablet feels good and came well packaged with nearly everything i needed. I added a mini-hdmi to hdmi and a 16gb micro sdhc card and a case is now winging its way here from GTR. Micro SDHC was a Sandisk Micro Secure Digital (MicroSDHC) Memory Card - 16GB - Class 4, works fine. My usage is : Primarily, during a 1 hour commute each day, using mobile internet through phone and watching stored video downloads. Secondary, while sitting on the SOFA, using internet through WIFI. Tertiary, the occasional use while away from routine days on holiday/work away from home. Primary usage is very good for me, screen is good and catching up on blogs/forums/news is quick. I have been using the tablet from standby and then doing a quick... Read more 8 of 8 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase( What is this?) The tablet served its purpose well but over time I began to feel that the 7 inch screen was too small and I have never much liked its 16:9 format. I therefore decided to look for something bigger with a 4:3 screen and within a 120 budget. Settling on the MOMO8 BIRD I placed an order with GTR Electronics because that company seems to have attracted favourable reports for its customer service and it certainly responded quickly and helpfully to all my e-mails.Delivery was rapid, within 48 hours, but packaging left a great deal to be desired. Ployer, the manufacturer, has elected to supply the tablet in a tight fitting box which has room only for the tablet and a couple of small connectors. The earpieces and charger are supplied separately and seemingly have to be packed by the... Read more |
