the smart cover i bought from eblink seems to be faulty from the manufacturing side. the smart cover is falling apart at the seams and the magnet that holds the folds together when collapsed is not as strong as others i have subsequently tried. eblink will not respond futher on this to me other than their warranty is 28 days etc. not happy at all, but will go to an apple store and see if they at least can help. avoid eblink.
Update - this is not a genuine apple product. Beware.

I had this item for less than 3 months and the whole thing fell apart. The grey plastic covering split and peeled away from the hard plastic strip supports. This is with minimal usage I might emphasise. I contacted the company a few times via Amazon but they did not reply at all. My advice: Buy your stuff elsewhere.

Brought this knowing it wasn't the proper cover made by apple, I thought at least it would stay on the screen to protect it. I was wrong. It slides off and the magnet isn't strong enough to stick to the ipad2. looking at previous reviews I won't even try to get my money back...
