And fast too. To Sync these together its easier to plug them in the same room that has two power points together, press the button on one for a sec & release, and then press the button on the other for another a sec and release to. They will then sync themsleves together for further use. Once you've done this, then move them to the desired locations you want them at. Oh, there's also a reset function available if you'r having any problems syncing these together. One note is that these do not work well, if at all, with Anti-Surge Protected Extensions, best not to use them on these!!! Set up was incredibly easy, and involved simply pressing the link button on the bottom of both adaptors. After that they just work, which is such a nice change in the world of networking devices. We live in a fairly old mews house, so I wasn't sure how good the wiring was. However the included software indicates that I'm getting 336Mbps over the connection, although the port is only 100Mbps. Pleasingly this has been fast enough to stream HD files to my apple tv. It also delivers a much more consistent connection than wifi, so no more disconnects mid film. After lots of hours of adjusting settings and no joy I stumbled on a forum where one of the comments was about upgrading the Home plugs.The package arrived within 24 hours and within 10 minutes ALL my problems were solved, speeds which before were 9mbps are now 28mbps on the top floor. There are a lot of these products available but this one is the one to get. |
