| 14 of 14 people found the following review helpful  excellent design for the blackberry playbook, By AV (London) - See all my reviews This review is from: BlackBerry PlayBook Faux Leather Convertible Case (Accessory) The Blackberry PlayBook fits nicely inside, with access to the 3 ports at the bottom of the case (HDMI, USB and rapid charge), and buttons on the top of the case allow use of the top control and power buttons (Particularly like the fact that it is easier to use the power button with the case as PlayBook users will know the power button is hard to use, so the case makes using this button that little bit easier in my opinion). The case is not bulky, so does not add too much extra dimension to the tablet. The stand features works great, even when using the tablet on uneven surfaces such as the bed or lying down on my lap, the stand seems to hold the PlayBook perfectly well. The only downside I can think of is that you cannot use the stand feature whilst charging as the charger gets in the way, although I imagine this is a problem on most designs of this type due to the folding lid (you may be able to see on the picture, where the playbook rest on its lid is where the charging facilities... This genuine case fitted the bill perfectly on paper and was not dissapointed when it arrived.Its put together very well, no stitching problems at all (a common issue on other cases), sturdy construction to protect the Playbook. The design allows the playbook to be stood up in landscape view in 2 positions. This is the advantage of the Faux Leather one as Blackberry seem to have forgotten thsi feature in the leather version... The case looks very smart and only has the minimum bulk making the feel and use of the case seamless. The only reason i knock off one star is because of the buttons at the top which make it hard to press through them to the real buttons underneath. However the Faux leather case is excellent value, it provides a good stand but also allows access to the frame and the buttons can still be used and the playbook can be charged (not the rapid charge stand) whilst still in the case. |
