Does exactly as described. The Nexus fits snugly in the case, held in place by a discreet velcro strap.
The unit has a magentic latch that 'sleeps' the Nexus 7 when closed, and is used to hold the lid in place when being used as a stand. A little wobbly when in the more vertical of the positions, but otherwise exactly what I needed.

I was slightly skeptical of this case "designed for Nexus 7" but it fits perfectly, sturdy enough for what I want, the stand works fine either way round (so either at roughly 20 degrees or 70 degrees angle if you follow my meaning) so watching video on it is easy. And the nicest feature for me is the automatic on/off as you open or close the case. For the price I highly recommend for the Google Asus Nexus 7.

Fast delivery thank you for sending this first class. The item it's self is exceptional for the cost. Was dubious about the smart cover claim but it works perfectly turning the screen on and off. All of the holes are in the correct place for the camera, charger and even the microphone. The material for the case is a little thicker than I would like and I would of paid more for real Leather if it was available. However probably the best case out there for the money.
